The Wellness Studio
The heart of Andrea Powers Studio...the Studio, of course. We offer daily classes in a comfortable, warm atmosphere to help you de-stress your life. Our class schedule is available online. Check out some of these amazing classes, taught by excellent certified instructors through our online schedule.
The wellness studio also offers services including skin care, body work (massage) energy work (reiki), lifestyle coaching, yoga therapy and more.
Who is Andrea Powers?

Active in the fitness field and wellness industry for over 15 years. Andrea Powers is a certified yoga instructor, spin instructor, personal trainer, certified lifestyle coach and a reiki facilitator. She has created the Wellness Studio as an environment to foster physical and mental well-being for persons of all ages, sizes, and physical ability. Andrea believes that wellness is a journey, and every person can persue improvements in their health. She has made it her personal mission to assist others in their journey, whatever their goals or fitness levels. Andrea has staffed the Wellness Center with highly knowledgeable, professionally trained and fully certified individuals from all walks of life.

Chakra Yoga There are 7 energy centers called "Chakras" and they parallel the spine. Each chakra has certain qualities and associations. And there are yoga postures that help us get this energy in balance. Each month we will work on a particular chakra. Please see website for the chakra of the month.
Yoga Fusion Combine yoga and pilates and you have yoga fusion. A vinyasa style class that challenges your strength, flexibility, core strength, and endurance. Be prepared to work!
Hot Hatha We turn up the heat in this class! Yoga taught in a hot room. This is our most challenging class incorporating strength, flexibility, and endurance. Be prepared to sweat!
Beginner Yoga Learn your yoga basics to build a strong foundation to any ones yoga practice. Great for beginners, seniors, or anyone looking for a less strenuous practice.
Pilates Mat & Props Emphasizing core essentials of alignment and strengthening the core, abdominal, and gluteus muscles for power from the center of your body outward.
Pilates at the Barre While most pilates classes work on small muscles Pilates at the Barre works on larger muscles while doing isometrics and interval training to offer a workout that will keep your body burning energy (calories) all day long!
Balanced Body Works every muscle group, while alternating between aerobic conditioning and strength training, helping to decrease body fat while strengthening. Great for Seniors
Spinning A fun and inspiring class where we tap into our active energy through music and movement while training on a specially-designed bike!
Spin Flex A fun and inspiring class where we tap into our active energy through music and movement while training on a specially-designed bike for the first 30 minutes and ending with 30 minutes of weight training

Supported Yoga is great for those who have been active through their lives and are seeking programs that continue to challenge them, yet honor their aging bodies and/or seniors who have been sedentary and are discovering the need to exercise as they grow older and desire continued comfort and ability. This class incorporates all the advantages of challenge and self-pacing for all levels and ages of this large population. The poses and methods will allow your seniors to increase muscular strength, endurance, flexibility, and increase stamina, lung capacity and overall wellness.
Supported Pilates is great for those who have been active through their lives and are seeking programs that continue to challenge them, yet honor their aging bodies and/or seniors who have been sedentary and are discovering the need to exercise as they grow older and desire continued comfort and ability. Supported Pilates will help tone and lengthen the whole body.
Kids & Teen Yoga will teach kids & teens to focus and center themselves with various breathing and visualization techniques. Promote self-confidence, awareness and control. They will also learn self-respect and respect for others with the practice of fun postures, group games, breathing and basic anatomy.
